Cultural heritage is a fundamental part of our identity. If you have a short story which brings out your own experiences and emotions on cultural heritage you can participate in the literary contest “A sea of Words“.
Under the motto “Memory and Identity: Rethinking Cultural Heritage” the contest has been organized by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Anna Lindh Foundation in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
Building a common future based on shared values and young people’s point of view are the two main focus of this contest, which wants to promote debate as well as knowledge of the environments and political, social, cultural and economic complexities of the Mediterranean and European countries.
If you are between 18 and 30 years old and have a short story of maximum 2.500 words in one of the official languages of the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area, give it a title and your personal details then send it in Word format to the following e-mail address: [email protected].
Remember that deadline for submission is the 20th of April!
